Who is God?

“God has a living Breath,

And the name of that Breath is man,

Man has a living Goal,

And the name of that Goal is God.”

Q. Who Is God?

God is all Love. God is all Light. God is all Beauty. God is everything; Truth, Peace, Light, Bliss in infinite measure. He is with form; He is without form. If you experience God as Peace, then you will say God is Peace. If you experience God as Light, then you will say God is Light. If you experience God as Love, then you will say God is Love.

Since we are human beings, according to our limited beings, according to our limited understanding, we say God is this or God is that. But God is really everything. If we want to experience Him as an infinite expanse without any form, we can do so. Again, if we want to experience Him intimately as a most illumined being right in front of us, then He becomes that.

My love of light is my spiritual Will.
Within it is the power infinite.
I give fear no place in my life.
My love of light is God's Smile of satisfaction.

God's supreme Love manifests in me and through me
To transform my human problems into my divine opportunities.

My animal human love is my unnatural experience and uncertain possibility.

My divine human love is my natural experience and certain inevitability of my living in the Eternal Now.

My love throbbingly says: "God is all blessing." God's Love smilingly says: "My child is all gratitude."

Love radiates the life of harmony,
brightens the joy consciousness and sharpens the sword of intuition.
Love is always ready to meet man's every soulful demand.
Love conquers all that is unlike God.
It is, indeed, supreme over all.

Love gives me my importance in the cosmic Vision of God.
Nobody remembers me save my love.
My sole treasure is love.
Love's treasure is God's Heart.

Love is the undeniable truth of my identity as God's son, chosen son.
Love is the unique combination of Heaven's freedom and earth's discipline.
In Heaven's freedom is earth's emancipation.
In earth's discipline is Heaven's manifestation.

No time-born desire can rend my love of light.
My love of light flies beyond the widespread net of death.
Mine is the love that has the birthless origin and the deathless end

A blessed day to all…

After he graduated, the former president of our organization and the editor of this site entrusted this to me. And now, from then on, I will be making all the updates, announcements and reminders here on the website based on what the officers and members of the Knights of the Altar.

Even though that is the case, my job is to give news to every member and what will be written here would still be under the approval of Mr. Jayar Defeo and Co.

Sacred Heart Altar Knights

Holiness, or the fullness of Christian life, is given to us by God through grace, but requires a mature personality, a firm will and good habits. Our Christian life is not simply a life of do's and don't's, but rather a life of imitating Christ, our model, who is Perfect God and Perfect Man. Through grace and human effort we can acquire the virtues or good habits that make us better persons, by striving for that human perfection presented to us by Christ, not only when we reach heaven, but even here on earth.
Virtues are not something abstract, separated from one's everyday existence. It affects precisely his life, his outlook, his actions and his relationship with others, so much so that one not only "lives and acts in a virtuous way", but rather one "is a virtuous person."
Like most other things in life, the virtues have to be learned. God may give them to us as gifts, but we should also cooperate with His grace and do our part. When we know more about the virtues, we begin to love them more, and we realize the good that they bring about. Little by little, we discover that it becomes easier for us to fulfil our duty of being good examples to others - good examples of ordinary persons in the middle of the world, just like everybody else, who live their Christian vocation fully, in the most natural way, so that others could see that the Christian life is a life full of joy, inspite of all the difficulties that man encounters in this world.
For an Altar Server all these may seem a difficult task, but for those who trust in God's grace, nothing is impossible. When the Holy Spirit reminded us in the Second Vatican Council of our duty to seek holiness - a duty of all Christians - He was not presenting to us an unreachable ideal. Instead, He wants us to realize that we can live the fullness of our Christian vocation without looking for the impossible, and without even searching for extraordinary moments to live it.
Lastly, by living these virtues very well, the Altar Server prepares himself to receive many graces from God - and among these graces, for a great number of the Servers, is the gift of vocation to the priesthood. This is one of the greatest graces that he can ever receive, and aside from thanking God, he should also do his best to nurture it until the time comes for him to formally undergo the necessary formation to become a priest.

First Sem.Progress S.Y. 2006-2007

The Knights of the Altar is still continuing its mission to train male students of Higher Education Department who wish to serve God by serving in the Holy celebration following the vision and mission of Sacred Heart College.The Knights of the Altar, especially its members are always there to serve in the Holy Eucharist, everyday there is a least two members KOA member serving during daily masses, together with sister, and during Saturdays, and Sundays there are 4-7 KOA members serving in the Eucharistic Celebration.

During special occasion like first Fridays of the month, feast days or any occasion is that may lead to Institutional Mass the President together with his co-officers are assigning 6-8 members to serve in the High Mass usually held at SHC gym. This is to secure the proper behavior of those trained members while in front of the Altar and to maintain the orderliness and holiness of the Masses.

The Knights of the Altar conduct two activities for this semester namely the Bass-1 (Basic altar Service Seminar 1) and the Tribute Party to the Octoberians (KOA) members who will graduates this coming October.

The Knights of the Altar seminar 1 is intended only for KOA aspirant. This is to train those aspirants with regards tot the proper behavior, action while in the ceremony. Also , for them to familiarize the different tools/ material used in the Mass.

Tribute Party is intended for the graduating students this coming October. They share their experience (good and bad) to their co-members from the time they join the said organization. This is the first time that the KOA members conduct their tribute party and they are hoping that this activity could be the start and de done every year. The Knights of the Altar officers are planning to conduct their Bass 2, Acceptance, investiture and KOA Olympics this coming second Semester.
